Ideas. Ideas! Ideas?

I’ve spent the last week checking out scores of blogs created by other people in John Thornhill’s Master Class.  We are six weeks into our training.

All the blogs look top notch which is quite an accomplishment, since many of us were not very advanced in our development skills.

I really like the approach John is taking to the training.  I especially like that he is preaching what he is practicing.  You can see all the things he teaches used right on his sites.

My biggest challenge has been actually posting.  This is partly a dearth of ideas and partly a lack of confidence to post what I think MIGHT be a good idea.

John has said that at this point he just wants us posting to get used to the idea of posting.  I am one of th0se who always wants to wait for perfection.  I have to break that habit.

Seeing other class members getting their posts out regularly will be a motivation.  Realizing that there are people who would like to see new content from me will be further motivation.

This will be a good week.

  1. Hi Victor,

Just wanted to say Thanks for your comments on my blog like what you doing with your blog its looking good, it has taken me ages to get round every one on the master class, looks like a few of us are have the same problems but hopefuly we can overcome and draw confidence from each other.

    To your continued succes Adam.

  2. Adam,

It’s taken me all week just to get to #60 or so on the list. Quite a crowd we have.

I’ve also noticed that many of us have similar challenges. I think there is opportunity in that. If a large percent of us have the issues, so do lots of people not in the class. One of those problems just might wind up being my niche.

Stop by victorpaul.com to sign up to see when I add new content. I’ve done the same at your site.

    Keep up the good work.

  3. Victor,

Great post. You will soon have a ton of ideas to write about. I was a bit unsure the first few weeks, but now the ideas come to me faster than I can get them all posted. Confidence will come with practice. No post has to be perfect.
    Best wishes from fellow student.

  4. Hi Ann,

Thanks for the encouragement. I do feel a bit better with each posting.

I don’t think I’ll be writing about Alpha Mind Control anytime soon, but…

    Good luck to you also.

  6. Hi Victor

yes, a good site. I was going to do a general site like you but I was thinking of the Google ranking. That is why my site site may seem a little boring at the moment. I like your About feature I should do the same but everytime I try I don’t like what I saying about myself.
We will improve as time goes on.

To the Future - where all will be revealled.

  7. Hi Micheal,

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to sign up to learn by email when new inspiration hits me.

I’ve been taking a “whatever strikes my fancy” approach, but will be narrowing my focus soon.

I did enjoy the change of pace on your blog last week when you posted the Tranquility picture.
Also like your posting your reactions to the coaching program rather than just doing a play by play.

    Keep up the good work.
